Regardless of what poll it is, a poll long before an election doesn't reveal much. Just ask G.H.W. Bush.

good for you: right now I am very undecided, but I think Cain might surprose a lot of people, especially the left media and the left period.

meson, why don't you stay on your side of the fense? oh I know, you are pissed because your fellow Canadians are not as liberal as you thought so now you are going to decide how us American will vote. Sorry, no one is paying much attention to you except wonder where you get your ideas.

Yeah, that worked out so well for us the last time. Why would people vote for a Dem Lite when they can have the real thing?

Please, he's a Southern minister, which is why social conservatives support him. He won't be able to tract back enough to the center on issues like gay marriage, abortion, and other issues to pick up many moderate and independent voters.

If he wins the Republican nomination, which I doubt, he'll lose the most racist and bigoted voters in the Republican Party who won't vote for a Black person, even if they are a Republican.

A guy like Cain needs to win the early primaries to show he's a serious contender or else people will lose interest.
