I am sure there are situations where people have associated dissatisfaction with Obama's policies with racism.
However, This is a VERY small minority that you are pretending is the majority position-- because it suits your quest to discredit progressives at all cost.
I don't judge all Conservatives by the policies of David Duke. How about we don't pretend the ridiculous extremes are the rule-- even when it suits our agenda!
I have no "quest to discredit progressives at all costs" thank you very much. Not really all that interested in it. The agenda I have in CD is to get a good laugh from some of the posts and call out hypocrisy when I see it.
In CD land , the extremes are more of the rule than you think. That was the context of my post; within the extreme element found within CD, will the rules that they developed for Obama be applied to Cain?
You wish. Cain is a real threat to Obama in a debate situation. He handled Clinton quite handily years ago and Obama isn't half the skilled debater Bill Clinton was. Cain also has a real world track record of success; Obama, not so much.
Cain did a cyber-townhall meeting yesterday. I was much more encouraged by his unscripted answers regarding the FED and his stance on Israel.
Anyone who ever managed a convenience store has had more success than obama.
Cain is anti-radical Islam and anti-Sharia, not anti-Muslim. He wants to know that whomever serves with him is dedicated to this country and this Constitution first. You should look into Cain's clarifications of the previously posted video, which of course, the leftists refuse to post in full disclosure.
He can "clarify" all he wants to, the man said he wouldn't appoint a Muslim to his cabinet. He didn't qualify a "radical" Muslim, just any Muslim. That makes him a bigot. If Ron Paul said that he'd be run off the national scene never to be heard from again. But because a FED Chairman/bankster/TARP supporting/big government loving/corporatist said it, it's all right.
You think liberals are going to be Cain's problem?
The real problem for him is winning the southern vote.
why do you say that? what makes you think the south would support Obama over Cain? add to that, libs are not going to support any Republican, let's face it.
He is NOT qualified and stands no chance against President Obama. He's representing a party that is synonymous with bigotry, a party that counts among its constituents the most racially insensitive, bigoted people in this country. He's got serious problems, and they appear to be personal. Severe internal issues with this guy, and the support for him shows just a desperate and misguided the GOP is in the wake of the overwhelming success of the presidency of President Obama. If he wins the GOP nomination, those who could never vote for a black person will either not vote or throw their support for another candidate, thus splitting the GOP vote. Thanks tea party.
Yet again another Neo Prog drone regurgitating the race card. Lemme educate another one: There are two black conservative congressman, Tim Scott, and Allan West, both from the south. In fact Scott received the republican nomination in the primary over Strom Thurmond's son. There are two Indian American governors in the United States, Bobby Jindal and Nikki Haley, again from the south, and Haley, who is also a woman, happens to be from South Carolina like Tim Scott.
Get outta here with your Media Matters race baiting talking points. Race Baiters= Liberal Racists.

Why are you being such a bigot? He's well qualified and he does stand a chance as long as people judge him based on something other than his skin color which you seem to be doing.
