I don't have a problem with Perry's action. I just have a lot of problem with the hypocrisy on the OP's part against Obama.

Replace "Perry" with Obama and the post itself will sound a lot like a liberal policy.

Ya know, last night I couldn't sleep so I was thinking about all the crap about Perry (of course this goes for every Republican candidate that might be a threa) snd it dauwned on me:

1-part of you are bitching cause he is just a RINO and supported Gore in 1988. all well and good except some of the same ones who are saying that are griping because his religious believes are too right wing. Which is it? Rinos are clearly closer to the Democrat party, but the Democrats are saying, all Republicans are too far to the right on religion. Then add to that some of you (and I am mainly talking about Democrats) think he wants too many regulations, like the vaccine for instance, but you are the same ones that want the government to regulate who can bet married and who can have abortions for starters. Then there is the group that would do anything to keep him out as they know their candidate stands no chence if Perry enters the race. Some of that group says they will not vote in NOv 2012 if their candidate doesn't get the nomination. The one thing that comes to my mind when I think of that is: a large majority of those who say they will not vote live in states that are so blue or red it really won't make a heck of a lot of difference.

Wait? Regulations are now an attribute?

Weren't you behind Cain (Fed reserve chairman) last week, and than Bachman (tax attorney) the week later?

Are you now behind Perry? This guy is the John Edwards of the 2012 hopefuls.

So, he was a democrat. This thread is about justifying his regulations.

He passed the std vaccine and than backtracked; due to politics.

You're same sex marriage and abortion rant don't even apply here. You're putting issues that are part of the culture war above the fact that Perry just signed off on regulations that would effect the economy. Are you against government regulations on energy or not?

Anyways, you vote the party line, and you admit to it. You will vote for whoever gets the R behind their name. You don't speak for those of use who are independents and will not support someone just because they have the right letter behind their names. We actually care about issues as hard as that is to believe.

Can you explain the similarities between Edwards and perry? Of course not..there are none. Whether you like him or not, this is a pretty lame comparison.

BTW, yes, I do vote party line for Pres, not other offices though. Why do I vote party line, because I have yet to feel there was a Democrat that came anywhere close to sharing my views. I will admit many times the Republican candidate I supported in the primary did not get the nod. If you are a Republican (which of course you are not) you would have to look at all the candidates that have been put up on the Democrat side since 1960 and tell me which one Democrat you culd support? Looking back, I would have voted for Clinton the second time around over Dole.
