I think Paul would stand the best chance of drawing Independents and Dems who are sick of Obama and ready to bail out. Paul is conservative but he is not trying to "dictate from the pulpit" so to speak. I doubt many who are sick of Obama would, in spite of that, swing their vote for Palin, Bachmann, Huntsman or Romney. But may very well do it for Paul, if nothing else because of his anti war stance.
This could be possible but the chances are: he will never get the nomintation: if Perry or Christie were to get into the race he will finish about forth.

Well, not that I have Mr. Quality weighing in, I guess I'll have to re-think my positions - after all he is offering a guarantee
He's too old. He'll nearly be 78 on January 20th, 2013. The U.S. would never elect someone this old as president. Yes, I know Reagan was almost as old when he was re-elected, but one has to consider that Reagan was a charismatic actor before he was president.
I think Obama's beatable, although I don't think it's very likely he'll lose. The only way Obama loses is if the GOP comes up with an amazing candidate who hasn't thrown out their name yet.

Think there's any chance that Christie will change his mind and run???

Two in a row. Another post I AGREE totally with. Maybe not the Perry part.?
Don't know why you would say that considering he is pro-life, and has been a devout baptist his whole life... seems pretty religious to me...
Maybe it is because he doesn't believe in creationism or something stupid.
I believe Ron Paul does believe in creationism. A quick google search shows that he does.
Ron Paul is a Christian. He does not wear it on his sleeve like most other politicians that try to use it to advance their career. He shows that he is a Christian by his actions. If anyone doubts him being a Christian, go to YouTube and search for "Ron Paul Pella Iowa". Instead of the couple quick little Christian soundbites candidates like to throw out there to prove that they are Christians, he does a great job at drawing the correlation between 1 Samuel 8 and our government. It's been awhile since I have watched it but I believe he talks about his own Christianity as well which is rare because he believes it should be between yourself and God and no other.
Quality, I am sure that you won't follow up on this and do your own research since you seem to like to spout off sound bites of misinformation from the media or even other people on here.
God made us with the freedom to chose how to live our lives. Our Constitution was put in place to give us the freedom to live our lives how we want. We are to answer to God for the way we choose to live our lives, not our government (as long as we are not hurting others). Anyone that votes for more big government is voting for the government to limit our God given rights.

Tami, I don't know what exactly Dr. Paul believes. I did hear him say he does believe God created man. But, I wasn't sure what he meant when he said something about the scientific community.
If a fringe candidate like Paul is polling this well, it tells you that pretty much anyone who wins the GOP nomination will be able to knock off Obama with the right campaign.
