If you bother to quote my entire post, I said relatives AND friends. That covers a lot of ground if you bothered to include the other part.

Because the Democrats are a bunch of racists and they long for the US to become the northern extension of Mexico
The USA isn't bilingual, or any-lingual for that matter. Is your push for nationalization of English as language (states can't be free to decide that, right?) solely from your hatred of "Mexicans"?

I agree , there has been legislation a few times to make puerto rico an english speaking country.

Americas language is english. America was originally an english colony, not bilingual colony

America was an English colony but before the English administered all of the parts of the original 13, some were Dutch, French, and Spanish.

Then the US expanded Westward in 1803, where the dominant languages of those territories (Louisiana mainly) were Spanish and French.

Then again Westward where the dominant language of the SW and West was Spanish.

Its more illegals here than legal hispanics.

Its sort of disrespectful, to know english and speak another language especially campaigning.

So you are saying there are 25 million illegal Hispanics??

There's about 12 million illegals and 75% are estimated to be Hispanic, so that's 8 million.

Also, President Bush gave several speeches in Spanish.

99% of americans spoke english. There was never a push to separate/invade back then like it is now.

We were never a spanish colony.

If they've been here for generations they should speak English. So why would there be a need for Spanish ads?

Doesnt change the fact english is our langiage, just because a whole groupfrom the south wants to leech off american wealth and not culturally become american make us bilingual. The majority of americans through heritage and other legal immigrants assimilated, learned the languagd amd never demanded the country change for the, tp be bilingual, because they are either too snoby, lazy, hostile, or invading to learn the language
