They say that Ron Paul is the real deal and Rick Perry has stolen some of Paul's ideas but that Perry is "packaged" well.

Ron Paul seems like more of a "National candidate"
Perry "is perceived as more of a" local state or Texas candidate

Obviously you know nothing about the Texas Trubune, the background, the location, the founders or anything else.

Any opinion is wrong, except for yours.

actually this isn't true: I just know the difference between fact and opinion. That's all. And I have said over and over, everyone has a right to their opinion, you, me and everyone else. The important thing is the word "opinion"

Right, as long as you say it.

Where's the comparison on leadership experience/running something large? If Perry doesn't run, my second choice will be another governor.

It's an interesting comparison because they are vastly different. On the Issues rates Perry as very Conservative. Ron Paul is rated as a Libertarian.

I think Paul probably has the better chance to appeal to the Tea Party -- which IMHO is just a recreation of the Libertarian Party (with less direction and vastly greater numbers.)

Out of the two, I think Ron Paul is a better fit on the issues that matter most to me.

So Huntsman or Romney? Those two are former governors. Can't think of any other former Governors off the top of my head.

Nita sounds like you are on the Perry bandwagon, I just find it funny that no Texans are coming to his defense.....even with a strong economy.
