Oh, I understand what they tried to get me to believe. That we evolved without intelligent design.. I just didn't believe it.

No you did not use a definition of a Scientific Theory.

How many links do we have to provide for you to understand the difference between the layman's use of the word theory and a Scientific Theory?

Please, if you can, provide a falsifiable hypotheses within ID that can be tested.

Hint: don't waste your time, it doesn't exist, and therefore, ID is not science.

Here let me google that for you:

Perry isnt a scientist nor was he discussing a scientific theory, so why are you only selectively picking definitions while ignoring other ones.

There are a lot of people posting on this thread that could really benefit from a basic, college level physical anthropology class. And before anyone refers to liberal college brainwashing, I did my major in aerospace engineering and my minor in theology. Creationism is overwhelmingly incorrect.

You are. We evolved from a common ape-like ancestor. That is the more correct way of expressing our origins than saying we evolved from "apes", which might be fine for a casual conversation with a lay audience, but it's not 100% correct.

Now you are telling me I was correct. Fantastic. We are making progress..

No, I'm telling you I have a whole office full of people laughing at your posts.

Not a valid theory? Why would anyone care? Seriously?

Evolution is the foundation of biology.

This thread is just bizarre.

Your Perry may not be a Scientist, but he surely loves to demonstrate his knowledge of science and challenging the scientists from his pulpit in front of an "impressed" people.

You can believe you came from a ape, a fungus , a bacteria, a virus , a tree or a fish, that is your conclusion so be it.

I believe in intelligent design , a creator who made us . We didn't get here with a body, soul and spirit and become a human being on our own. We are all made very intricately. Even the unlocking of DNA has told us that we are all differently made.

Our wisdom is limited. God's wisdom is not.

Others have already answered.

ERV's present in our DNA and in those of the modern great apes prove conclusively that we all evolved from a common ancestor.

Evolution provided the hypothesis, our own DNA provided the proof of the hypothesis. Now it's a fact.

Sorry that this upsets you, and even more so that you will remain in denial about it regardless of the evidence.

Again, this is why when Creationist ideas are tested in courts of law where logic and the rules of evidence hold sway, you lose.
