....Then they fight you. Then you win.

Is Ron Paul going to prove Ghandi right? It seems like he is enduring the third phase of the 4 phase cycle. Doesn't it?

They ignored him and laughed at him last time. Now they can't do that because he's winning or placing high in the straw polls. His fan base is growing. He can raise money like crazy. Seems to me especially with the attack article in The American Conservative Magazine and the derogatory remarks about him (that he "can't win" and he's a "long-shot") is the media's way of trying to fight the inevitable and it is backfiring on them because people see the injustice they've done with the lack of reporting which makes them all that much more determined to support Ron Paul.

The media does not control people. If people want to vote for Ron Paul, they will. If Ron Paul doesn't become the nominee, don't blame the media. It's so trite.

If it's Paul vs. Obama, and the economy is still in the crapper, all bets are off.

Hope and change isn't buying any instant ramen these days. And a whole lot of people are hurting. I'd rather have a crazy president and a job, than a puzzled law professor tsk-tsking as I lose my home.

First things first. Let's put people to work and feed them before we worry about their being sufficiently sophisticated regarding the theoretical underpinnings of community awareness. And other such crapola. Obama is enjoying the media's fawning to a degree that may well cost him re-election...

That is if the media is honest. Most people still believe that the media still giving them unbiased news.

Blame the media when the do not speak the truth or when they do not speak at all.
Since when is truth trite?

If the media keeps pounding into people's heads that unless a "win-able" candidate is nominated (Romney or Perry) and that Ron Paul isn't such a candidate - then YES - the media takes a big chunk of the blame and this IS NOT TRITE. The media is powerful for a reason.

Yeah, he'd be a "crazy" president who doesn't believe in starting wars and killing innocent civilians and a "crazy" president who believes in "crazy" ideas like FREEDOM. These concepts shouldn't be "crazy" to anyone unless you are 18 or 20 years old and don't remember what living in a FREE country is like.

Is that how young you are?

I'm talking about the votes that have been counted during a REAL election. They are around 14% ...
