Rick Perry has shown his disgust for the Federal Government & DC until he actually needs them! Here is his hypocrisy:

Texas's love/hate relationship with Washington's money

Texas balanced budget with stimulus money from Washington - Jan. 23, 2011

So he is critical of Obama's Stimulus money yet used it to balance his state's budget! Now unto the Texas wildfires:

Gov. Rick Perry, who has been quick to denounce federal intervention in everyday lives, was equally critical of the federal response to wildfires across the state.

Perry, who announced his candidacy for the presidency last month, expressed frustration at the slow pace of the relief efforts and jabbed the Obama administration for not releasing military equipment like bulldozers that would be useful in battling the blaze.

Fires show need for regional plan

Conservatives please! please! stand behind Perry and make him the GOP nominee! His Social Security rant about it being a "Ponzi scheme" along with what has been posted above should be a cakewalk for President Obama!

He was also pro-immigration, and now he is anti-immigration.

But he is the front runner, so he could be the next president.

The loony left, once again, displays their inability to distinguish between limited government and no government.

Really who is "looney" here? Perry has also called for Texas to secede from the US! He is starting to sound as kooky as Bachmann.

Unless we're talking about Ron Paul, hypocrisy in politicians is the norm.

I don't think its hypicrtical to question or raise concerns about these things. I thinks its Politics. It's not much different to complain about your cable bill being too high at the same time enjoying your favorite HBO show. Just because you are using a service doesn't mean you give up the right to question some of its value.
