True. I like listening to Newt for some of the same reasons I like listening to Ron Paul. They are both so smart. They know the Constitution and History like the back of their hand. Too bad Newt isn't an Austrian Economist though.... None of them really have a clue (except Ron Paul), about the economy and monetary policy.

he is straight and true, like an arrow.
It's his biggest political liability though. If you basically agree with the terrorists (that US policy caused 9/11), then you should keep that to yourself if you are a political candidate. If you are a tv talking head like Bill Maher, you can probably get away with it. Heck, you might even get good ratings out of it.

I liked that too, and it was a difficult question to answer, given a matter of seconds.

His answer was rather condescending actually. I agree that is it is time to get out but he could have elaborated.

He should have just said it isn't this country's government's responsibility to intervene in other country's people's ways just as it shouldn't try to micro-manage lives of Americans.

When did honesty become a political liability? I know what you are saying, but that is really sad and speaks to our character, not his.

According to O'Reilly, the tea party is dumping Bachmann and rallying around Perry. If that is true, that makes no sense to me.

O'Reilly makes such a fool of himself sometimes. It could be true though if you are talking about the neo-con segment of the tea-party.

The term "tea party" is practically meaningless now that so many people with such widespread views want to say they are part of it.
