If you want to watch the results roll in you can see them here, the polls just closed so it'll be a little while.

News from The Associated Press
The NYtimes has an article essentially blaming "Orthodox Jews..." never mind that the strictest of Orthodox Jews don't even vote in US elections... and never mind that the rest of Jews tend to vote democrat. Sounds like very desperate spin.

Another person who seems to believe that all Jewish people are the same. It is the same as mainline Christian denominations and fundies. Fundies have different priorities and are motivated by social issues. This is much the same with the Orthodox and moderate or Non-practicing Jews. There is an enclave of ultra Orthodox Jews in that district that is not representative of most of the Jews in the U.S. They are fundamentalist Zionist, for the most part.
this was about marriage in the Orthodox community (listen closley to any Jew (who actually cares to be Jewish) and you'll see that marriage was the issue at play take it away and instead of Turner winning these neighborhoods at 85% ranges it would be weprin winning at 85% ranges)

it's true but the Orthodox vote never would have carried the day if not for the overall sentiment in non Orthodox neighborhoods (the way to see how much is Obama and how much gay Marriage is to wait untill the ED by Ed results come out compare Weiner-Turner+- in different neighborhoods (the Orthodox neighborhoods, Russian neighborhoods, White Catholic neighborhoods, and Hispanic neighborhoods) and estimate how much each factor played in each neighborhood (by people who actually know this district))

Yes gosh forbid they come out with at least something original. Guess what, myself and a whole lot of Americans blame Obama! there it is. Too bad Obama has no platform to stand onto.
