If the tea party isn't satisfied with the GOP nominee, will the tea party draft a candidate to run as an actual tea party candidate?

It has been discussed. I don't know who they would convince to do this though. It would be political suicide unless they win. Also, I don't know who would have the resources to do this and make a real go of it.

Split the conservative and semi-conservative vote and Obama wins.


Is that the game plan the Democrats are praying, oops wishing for?

I though the tea party was it's own legitimate 3rd party that is made up of democrats, independents and republicans?

The 'tea party' is not an actual recognized party. It is a grassroots movement of sorts. However, from what I can tell it has some distinct groups splintered off of it.
