None of them died for the Mexican Flag. Everyone died for the American flag.

Texas high school students raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole, other students took it down. Guess who was expelled...the students who took it down.

California high school students were sent home on Cinco de Mayo, because they wore T-shirts with the American flag printed on them.
and these are examples of where the problems lie. If we would stop giving preferentual treatment to illegals or to anyone from another country things might be a lot different. It used to be, you came to America cause you wanted to be an American, not to take the part of America that works for you and forget the rest of what the country is all about.

I never understood why there are some in the SW who have strong allegiance to the Mexican gov't. Generally, the Mexican oligarchy could care less about most of the populace and are partly to blame for the conditions that drove most of the immigrants to the United States. Atleast in the US there is some resemblance of Civil Society and intellectual efforts to combat the cultural and socio-economic effects of certain elements of Hispanic culture.

Why doesn't the moderator just merge this with my original

I just love how fast the interviewer talks and his
eye expressions.

I came into this thread, to praise Ron Paul for not trying to be politically correct, that he refuses to use race and ethnicity towards politics and I couldn't be more disappointed. Still, he is the best candidate from the republican world.

He does not seem to have "that libertarian view" when
it comes to illegal immigration now, does he...

But, your right - Dr. Paul is the best candidate from the
republican world - I just wish he was running as
a third party - all my friends think I'm turning
into a republican
