the best indicator of how he would govern is to look at his record in massachusetts, which would mean he would govern as a center-left democrat.
flip.......................flop
But I agree that Mitt has the best chance at the nomination (btw, we're in for a war with Iran if he wins ). He didn't make to many major moves last night but the status quo = positive for Mitt

to tell you the truth, america need a war right now to get this economy going.
Attacking Romney on bank bailouts is a losing strategy. The big banks that received the majority of bailout LOANS have paid those loans back WITH INTEREST. Romney will then turn the attack against Obama who directed the repayments into other goverment spending and adding to the national debt instead of closing the lines of credit.
guess again
"By repaying its TARP loan, for example, Goldman wriggled out from under the nettlesome compensation limits imposed by TARP, while also conveying an image of financial strength. But this “strength” was illusory. Goldman repaid the TARP loans with funds it procured days earlier from the Federal Reserve. Then, over the ensuing months, Goldman recapitalized its balance sheet by selling tens of billions of dollars of mortgage-backed securities to the Fed.
And the public never knew anything about these activities until two weeks ago, when the Fed was forced to reveal them...."
"As it turns out, the government continued to “revitalize” that small sliver of the economy known as Goldman Sachs. During the three months following Goldman’s re-payment of its $10 billion TARP loan, the Fed purchased $27 billion of MBS from Goldman. In all, the Fed would purchase more than $100 billion of Mortgage Backed Securities from Goldman during the 12 months that followed Goldman’s TARP re-payment."
When it comes from him nothing is joke... these are the people who vote for Perry, Romeny and other idiots. unbelieveable we are in 4 wars I think at this point I dont see the economy moving anywhere.
Romeny is ready to start a trade war with China and they own most of our debt.
Mitt wants to be president? This is the person who is suppose to lead us toward constitutional and limited government?
[quote=tropolis;21252839]romney lacks the positive enthusiasm that cain has though, and i dont think people will go out and support him like they would for cain.
Romney's problem that you can't make a old flat bottle of Coke into a bottle of hot sauce by changing the label.
Yeah. I'd like to see those polls too. If people were paying attention they couldn't have been very impressed with his answer about who he'd pick for a Federal Reserve Chairman. I didn't even think he did a very good job of rebutting criticisms about his 9-9-9 plan.
Mitt is no expert on all the issues. He just is better than the others (except Ron Paul of course who DOES know the issues) of not putting his foot in his mouth.
Perry and Cain and Bachman to a degree have hurt themselves from their debate performances.
