A new study by Pew Research Center confirms that the establishment is terrified of Ron Paul’s presidential campaign gaining momentum – figures show that despite his top tier showing in national polls, the Texan Congressman has received the least media coverage out of all the Republican candidates.
“Ron Paul loyalists have been vindicated. A new study by the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism shows just that: the Texas Congressman, who has consistently polled in the high single digits — Real Clear Politics’s aggregate poll currently has him at 8 percent — has received the least overall coverage of any candidate.
If Ron Paul becomes president... he might solve the problems in which case the "establishment" is no longer needed... the establishment is living on government money... that means taxpayers money is being used to enrich the establishment...
I don't think that the media is either scared or concerned about Ron Paul upsetting the status quo, mainly because if he is elected he will find himself totally ineffective because he just doesn't have a supporting cast of Senators and Congressmen for his policies. As a result, the media (quite wrongly in my opinion) have dismissed him as a non entity, candidate who in their opinion lacks viability. Of course that is a double edge sword, if the media determines that you don't have viability, they stop covering you, when they stop covering you your viability decreases, but unfortunately that is how the media works, there just isn't some grand conspiracy.

It is a conspiracy. They are picking winners n losers, shoving Perry and Cain at us, while ignoring the man with the real solutions. All he needs is a little more exposure, once they get to know him, they can't help but love him. He is the man we've been waiting for!
CNN is doing the debate tomorrow night.
Otherwise it's no surprise, Paul wants to end the cronyism and "business as usual" politics that are going on. He's against the giveaways to big business and wall street, wants to audit the fed, stopping the handouts to the rich etc,.. everything the GOP base stands for. That's why fox cant stand him and constantly bash and discredit him.

It isn't a conspiracy in the sense that the managing editors of all the newspapers and producers of televised news casts get together every evening and discuss who or what they are going to cover, but it is a mind set that runs pervasively throughout the industry. It is a cultural view that one learns as one works ones way up through the business.
PS - Remember, greater exposure = greater scrutiny. If the media is to blame for the rise of Trump, Palin, Bachmann, Pawlenty, Perry and now Cain, we find that the more people see, the less they like.
