No doubt; maybe he'll say that the Chinese aren't as tall as he is.

Don't know how to break this to you, bu the Chief Executive is pretty heavily embroiled in foreign policy. Knowledge of the basics should be a requirement.

Is China a threat to us then?
If China's nuclear capability is to be considered a threat, that's news from 1964. The guy seems to be operating with a threat picture that's 4 decades out of sync.

Obama did not know how many states we have but that was ok?
With the mileage you've out on that talking point, shouldn't you consider replacing it? It's been what - 3 years?

Willing to bet Obama did not know this either until someone told him.
Seeing as Obama was born in 1961 and China detonated their first nuclear weapon in 1964, there's a fair chance he had to be told by someone - I doubt he noticed the newscasts on the day.

China having nukes isn't specialized knowledge, it's one of those things that people who read newspapers are expected to know.

That being said, seeing as Obama was instrumental in getting the Lugar-Obama anti-proliferation bill passed (Google it), it's a fair bet that he knows his nuclear powers, their capabilities and the risk they pose better than most.

No surprise there.

The Tea Party (that is, the extreme RW shock troops of the GOP) like and respect people who display a studied ignorance on the issues. They don't go for that book-larnin', pointy-headed intellectual stuff.

They prefer folks who are reflections of themselves: plain-spoken, intuitive, faith-based C-student types who can use native country hick wit and charm to put one over on those uppity atheistic college-boy city-slicker egg heads. GWB, Palin, Bachmann, Perry, now Cain, are all in this catagory.

For all the important decisions (like whether or not to invade Iraq, or bomb China), well, they'll just pray for guidence!

Best post of the week so far.

China outnumbers the USA by 4 to 1.Yet the USA said China has raised its defense budget by 10%. the USA has only raised its defense budget by 5%,USA budget in dollars will go from 650 billion to almost 700 billion.China defense budget is 60 billion plus 10% will come to 66 billion.More lies by the USA who out spend the chinese by 11 to one.Ever wonder why communist China was never sanctioned like Cuba was and still is?

A good name for his main support base is "Tea O' Cons". They claim to be Tea Party people who love small government, less spending, etc but will jump behind any candidate with Tea Party name just because of the name. So long as Cain has MSM support (Rush, O' Reily, Levin) they will continue to support him and call anything a "liberal attack" on a black conservative. Which makes no sense because Obama would LOVE to run against Cain.
