So you post a paragraph of raging hate, to denounce radical haters? Interesting.
And showing your fear of the current bunch of candidates. All you do is call them names, and mock them, with what amounts to a list of complete LIES.
Good for a laugh, though. The incoherent ramblings of the demented mind is always entertaining.
Do You know who's laughing now?, the folks at the white house, why? well the gop front runner is a non electable criminal who was reprimmended by his own colleagues, and who's hinting to run again? idiot egomaniac trump,
omg, the gop field is truly pathetic, barrack can donate his campaign money, he will win for sure....
Why should we be surprised that all the current presidential GOP candidates are just a bunch of imbiciles. I think you have to go all the way back to Nixon in order to find the last competent GOP leader, after him, we had Reagan, who was clearly demented since elected in 1980, making many of his decissions based on the horoscope, then we had Quayle- a picture perfect illiterate moron, crowned by baby bush the perpetrator of the worst presidency ever. I think it all stems from the base of the party which is made out of religious fanatics, racist and intolerant groups, the uneducated, radical haters etc., if you squeeze lemons, you should expect lemonade....
Glad you started a thread with this topic. GOP leaders are well...stupid.
Religious fanatics, racist idiots, and intolerant imbeciles, absolutely.
It's great to read a post by someone who is also among the most enlightened.

you must have been an infant if you think Reagan depended on the horoscope: it was Nancy that did that...Quayle was the VP, not the Pres.
You know it would be so nice, if just once you could post something positive and meaningful instead of spending days thinking about how you can express your views of the Republican party. If you tried you might think of something worth while to post.

and has been found guilty of what? In order to be a criminal you have to be found guilty of breaking the law...you know, sorta like Clinton?
Speaking of imbeciles...pot meet kettle..lol. Isn't it interesting that if Reagan were demented when he took office (and he wasn't), he still did a much better job than Obama has. Doesn't say much for his leadership, does it?
Far different situations, but you know that don't ya.
Congress was left of center by today's standards. Nixon was forced to go along with them, resulting in all the stuff you cited. If Nixon were around today he'd be a mainstream Republican. Much of his staff were still kicking around as of the Bush administration- Cheney, Rumsfeld, shoot Roger Ailes got his start under Nixon.

Thank you for that...seeing that we have the most brilliant teleprompter reader of all time in there now.

point taken; also remember Pat Buchannan was a speech writer for Nixon. Nonetheless I don't think it is accurate to say that Congress forced Nixon into, for example, the wage-price controls. Definitely not his support for a national handgun ban, which never was enacted.
In the 1960's-70's mainstream GOP'ism did not have as much libertarian underpinning as it does now.
Another interesting thing I ran across recently--Fannie Mae was revamped under Nixon and Freddie Mac created. Subsequent admins took that ball and ran with it, and in part it can be traced back to Nixon.
