President Obama's ratings on the the most important issue for his re-election -- the economy -- have posted the weakest showing of his presidency, according to a poll released Friday by CBS News.
About 60 percent of voters said they disapprove of Mr. Obama's handling of the economy, the highest on record. Just 34 percent approve of the job he is doing on the matter.

His overall approval ratings are just 43 percent, while 47 percent disapprove of the job he is doing as president.

Yet, his sycophants on C-D still think he's a shoe-in for reelection. Too funny.

My gosh, what terrible numbers.

Of course, this isn't the only poll that shows the same kind of numbers on his handling of the economy, jobs, deficit and debt.

Among independents, just 39 percent are satisfied with his performance, while 76 percent of Democrats and 12 percent of Republicans approve of his job performance.
Goodness, look how many democrats are still hypnotized and duped by the worst president in the history of the US.

That Indie number is fine.

Those numbers really are terrible, but that doesn't matter to his minions. Because anyone who might disagree with Obama is an evil racist, they will mindlessly vote for Obama despite his proven failures.

Tea party approval - about 23% percent

Congressional approval since the GOP took over the house - Lowest in US history. Hovering around 13% right now.

The "Neener neener! Look at Obama's! low approval numbers!" threads over and over are just ridiculous as while his approval numbers aren't stellar, the GOP/tea party's approval is downright horrific.

All the progressives have to do is stay in the mushroom cavern, and their man will continue to look like a shoe-in.

Not only that, but 86% say the economy is bad, a direct reflection on obama.

Now remember, this is a poll of adults, which will always be more favorable to the democrats.

Digging into the demographics, which is always wise when dealing with polls from the big three, as bad as the numbers are for obama, they needed a 6 point advantage for the dems and of course, under sampled republicans.

That IS their modus operandi...because if they had anywhere close to legitimate party affiliation numbers, obama would be down into the mid-30s.

When will you learn the difference? Congress doesn't have to deal with national elections. What with redistricting and what not, most district are fairly stable. There are some that are competitive, like the ones in VA the GOP just took on Tuesday.

I always find it funny out liberals can never discuss why Obama is a complete failure or why his numbers are so low. All they can do is revert to changing the subject.

Why is it that liberals never want to honestly discuss how poorly Obama is doing?
