This is what is wrong with this country. There are too many "deals" and because of these "deals", we have class warfare. One set of rule for you, one set of rule for him, and another set for her.
Do you understand the difference between a realistic and an idealistic world or country? You are misisng the point altogether. It take compromise, like it or not..!!!!

Tell that to Paul and his supporters, they are the ones that cannot tell the difference.

The point others have made about Paul's inflexibility highlights why we rarely elect Presidents who don't have any executive experience. It's easier, and indeed useful from time to time, to be inflexible either as a partisan or an ideologue when you're one of 535 decision-makers. It's a lot harder to be so inflexible when you're an executive who has to, well, execute. Obama was the first President in almost 50 years, elected or otherwise, to attain the office without any executive experience. And it shows. It's a mistake the voting public would be advised not to duplicate any time soon.

There will be no compromise on Constitutional principles.

Hows the reality of our economy being in the toilet?
Hows the reality of the housing market that hasn't recovered yet?
Hows the reality of our children having a bleaker future than their parents?
hows the reality of out of control health care costs?
When it comes to picking a candidate with successful policies and the choice is more of the same horrible policies, reality check.

Did someone hear something buzzing, nope it was nothing, just more hot air blown by a windbag, so nevermind, sorry for the interruption

The battle of what the role of government is the idea. With the princples of the constitution and limited government only ONE idea should be clear and strived for. We have men and women in government not interested in following the constitution and have for sometime ignored the revolution of our founding fathers for the sake of compromise and expanding their role in everyone's lives. A government expanding in military adventure and domestic spending is a threat to liberty. Those who compromise our liberty for the sake of special interests are always ready to demonize those who want their freedoms.

Nita
Why would anyone compromise and lower their standards to do something that ruins the economy and costs the lives of Americans? Just so they can say "hey look at me I'm getting along with others".
When it comes to liberty and freedom there is no compromise.

All of this give and take being decided by people in Washington DC to run our lives. How's that working out?

Realistic world????? People are out of work and loosing their life savings. The cost of living is rising faster than their pay. And your answer is more of the same. Hows that for realism?

Elect the status quo and most will continue to be losers, except for the ones government hand picks to be winners.

Great post staying on topic and discussing the facts.
What was your in depth analysis of Ron Pauls policies again?

Doubt it, he isn't stupid enough for most Americans to vote for him.
