Probably, especially if the money dries up and it will more than likely. I bet those that gave all those millions the week after the first scandal would like a do-over.

As for the moral majority and the Christian right, Cane didn't fit into this at any point, he didn't claim to be part of it and the "moral Majority" in case you didn't know, was part of the Jerry Falwell camp 30 years ago...?? I think you need to re-think your comments.
It means just what it says....what is there to explain?

You said it yourself, "his campaign went much further than he ever dreamed".....so what does THAT mean? He just took a stab at it for funsies? He wasted his supporters campaign dollars for what he knew was a lost cause from the get go? So much for fiscal responsibility.

Did he get in the race because he had a chance of winning it.....or for something else?

I don't need to re-think my comments, the "Moral Majority" is still alive and well within the Republican Party, a new label doesn't change it. How can anyone listen to the moral rhetoric that still dominates their agenda and not realize it?

Cain was not a part of the Christian right? What do you call singing a song about Jesus at a press event? LOL

Why, Annie, do you have such 'seemingly' anger toward Christians? I mean, I don't classify you as a 'fruit cake...like so many of the typical 'haters' on this forum. I believe you have a big heart. This puzzles me..

[quote=Winkelman;21909953]So when the left says really racist things, that's OK?[/
my comment had nothing to do with race, it was a really funny joke and for your information there are white pimps. There was a TV show on HBO based on a white female pimp.

I have no problem with Christians that worship their faith and keep it to themselves.

I have a problem with Christians that try to legislate their faith and beliefs upon everyone else......and then, to top it all off, they don't even have the decency to live up to those ideals themselves.

Case in point......they contend that allowing gays to marry will ruin the institution of marriage.......while they run around cheating on their wives.

Like I stated in an earlier post...not all those who claim to be be Christians, especially in the political arena, actually...Truly are!

But, have you heard about the ''Great Commission?''

Does the "Great Commission" condone legislating people into the faith by force?

I don't know if the allegations are even true. If they are, then, I'm back to wondering why male politicians on both sides of the aisle are SO STUPID. I mean, really. How many politicians before you have to fall before you figure out that you might fall as well if you do as they did? Sex and romance are great but I've never wanted to ruin my life over either.

I think its when ones ego and self importance gets in the way of reality and common sense.

In Cain's case I think he really did not expect to be the front runner. He was still mingling his book tour with his campaign while he was shooting up the polls. He assumed these women would not dare to come forward. He made it through the a senate campaign and the 2008 election without these problems. But he is playing with the big boys now.

But even if the bimbo eruptions did not happen, there are stories about campaign finance issues all over the place with him. His smoking manager was banned from managing campaigns for three years in Wisconsin do to illegally mixing personal and donated money together and apparently they are doing the same thing now. And buying his books with campaign money.

But don't feel bad for him. He will have a Fox News weekend show, more books to write and after the divorce begins he chase those women without remorse.
