He is exactly right. The other candidates are allowing Trump to turn the process in to a circus where they dance to the tune of the clown's music.

Huntsman is obviously too logical, concise, and creative to be the Repub. nominee.

Its clear they prefer a candidate who is wedded to idealogy and slogans. The far right has their stratedgy lined up----its to take down Obama regardless of the economic implictations for the country. They are willing to postpone debt reduction talks, block the payroll tax extension, fight for the Bush tax cuts, and weasal out of the automatic budget cuts targeted including defense cuts.

Huntsman is a creative man who feels that meaningful and direct negotiation can result in a broad based deficit agreement----he is not a flamethrower and not tied to rigid and inflexible idealogy. Of course, he has no chance of winning the repub. nomination.

Good on him. I don't know what kind of alternate universe when a many times bankrupt self promoting reality show show star can be considered some sort of political king maker. Although I don't agree with a lot of Huntsman's policies I think he is a principled and intelligent man. And how anyone but an ideologue could have supported the Ryan Budget Plan, I think he seems like a person capable of compromise.

He's either playing an Obama style long-game-campaign here and allowing the other candidates to continue to fall off the crazy train until he's the last standing "Not Romney," or he's laying the ground for 2016 after the Republican party implodes and rallies around a sensible leader - Sensible in comparison to what's happening now anyways.

I'd like to think that they are just burning through all the lunatics so that they can finally nominate a sane candidate - the only one that I can see on the list is Huntsman. But since he seems sane to the rest of the world, he must seem insane to current republicans (at least those on C-D) and thus, probably doesn't stand a chance...

LOL..Why is Huntsman being all sensible? That's no way to garner conservative support. He better start calling Obama the anti-christ if he wants back in on the race.

The fact that some of the lefties here like Huntsman is reason enough to NOT like him.

BTW....he needs all the help he can get.
