"Iím a Theodore Roosevelt Republican and I believe government can lean in the regulatory leaning is okay."

On supporting ethanol subsidies and the mandate for health insurance and urgent moves against carbon....I'm sorry I can't go on. Read it yourself.

I still cannot understand why ultra-conservatives, who were for Cain or Bachmann or even Perry early on, would transition to Gingrich right now.

I don't get it, either. They are not looking at his resume. Like the Obamabots of 2008, they just like to hear him talk.

Brit Hume said something interesting (I think it was yesterday) on some show (can't remember which one) about conservative's dilemma. Do you go for the candidate people are saying has the best chance to beat Obama or do you go for the most conservative candidate because it may be your best chance in this election year to get a true conservative in the White House?

I think media types who comment on "electability" have an agenda so I'm for not settling for some guy because some media bozo says "He's the most electable" and voting for who you really want to see run the country.

For me, it's not Newt.

Glen Beck and Newt, two people who really love to hear themselves talk and when they are fininshed I am still not really sure what page they are on.
