Sadly the media and the left wingdings who are desperate to find anything to take the focus off of the obama record DO care about it. They see it as a smoke screen....a way to let the voters focus on the barrage of media attention to an unsubstantiated charge just as they did with Cain.
Instead of issues the dems have nothing to talk about other than scandals and the sex lives of others. It just shows how much of a failure obama has been when they can't even discuss his record.

If you guys are so concerned about the issues, why are you looking to nominate such an obvious clown? If you nominate Newt, this election is going to become about Newt's many failings. It's 2004 all over again -- what should have been a debate our foriegn policy instead became a debate about how John Kerry's swiftboat crew felt about him he was their captain 40 years prior.
