The media blackout of Ron Paul is far less effective this time around than it was in 2008. But if he doesn't win the White House this time around, he might be too old to take another crack at it. The good news is that Ron Paul might be able to pass the torch to Rand Paul.

Worst case scenario, but it offers hope for the future for a long time to come.

Ron Paul is finished. He will win Iowa, and then the GOP establishment will absolutely freak out and go after him like they do with all the other flavors of the month.

Romney surrogates will go after Ron Paul's history of unprincipled flip-flopping: first his vote for the Afghanistan war, then opposing it. His anti-federal government positions, yet he doesn't hesitate to ask for pork for his district. Also, expect attacks on his old age and questions on his mental sanity.

You heard it here first.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with Ron Paul. I am simply stating how the GOP will attack Ron Paul if he manages to be the next flavor of the month.

Show me where Ron Paul has flip flopped even once. He voted to go after the ones responsible for 9/11. He never flip flopped once. He doesn't believe in going to war without a declaration of war. You go in, win it then leave. You do not occupy and run other countries for them.

Best thing that can happen to the RP campaign IMO. He wants this attention. He wants his record out there for everyone to compare. It's the media blackout that hurts his campaign.

He's the flavor of the decade. Everyone knows it especially the other candidates. Only the MSM tries to ignore it.
