One hundred children orphaned is one hundred children too many. That is a true cost of war; not the economic repercussions. A generation of children who are going to grow up without parents and bear the exact same hate towards America that their parents do for what we've done to that nation since the 1950's.

Why does nobody else see this cycle of war and death and unhappiness?

And yes, now that we have left Iraq; the number of people who will die from injuries they have sustained, and children from homelessness, and the spread of hate and the fact that we've set the stage for coup d'etat now that we're gone - millions may indeed die. Only time will tell, I just hope it proves me wrong.

I did not say that Iraq was formerly a "stable" nation. And that's a typical response from a typical American who thinks that Iraq must have been one long line of the population all waiting for their turn at the guillotine. Honestly people, things were bad in Iraq under Saddam Hussein. Far worse than many Westernized nations. But definitely not anything similar to what I just described. Most people went about their daily lives no different than we do here in the good ole' US of A.
You sure implied that those 5 million orphans were the offspring of the 100,000 civllians killed by our troops, since those two facts were strung together. My point is you don't know what you are talking about.

You're a black man...you said that. She's a black woman. = BIG SURPRISE you 'think' she'd be a 'great president.'

Rice is a despicable, calculated WAR MONGER. She, along with Cheney and Blowfeld (Rummy) literally orchestrated and promoted the attack on Iraq...with lies about WMD's, with no regard for innocent Iraqi's...nor for our own Military. She, Bush, Cheney and Blowfeld (Rumsfeld)....as someone here said today, should be tried in court, for war crimes.

Why then is there not a a "legitimate" reason to go after Syria? Not as much oil at stake? Where is our concern over the people of Egypt? No oil maybe?
