Paul could choose Johnson actually. If that happens, Obama could ask Romney to replace Biden to create the illusion of bipartisanship, probably out of desperation.

I agree, I think a Ron Paul GOP candidacy could lead to some very strange results. Some of the states with more progessives might go to Paul/GOP based on his stance on the drug war, foreign wars and personal liberty. Some of the traditional Red states may end up going to Obama since he is the more committed warmonger and drug/culture warrior. It would make for an exciting election year without a doubt.

I'm still voting for RP in the republican primary but I like Johnson's candidacy and I intend to vote for him if he gets the libertarian nod. When the LP ran Bob Barr I couldn't get behind him and lost a bit of respect for the LP because he is not a real libertarian. Johnson is a move in the right direction.
