One leader isn't perfect for all moments in history. Neville Chamberlain was the wrong man for the job, while Churchhill was the perfect man - during the war. He was woefully inadequate AFTER the war. For our moment in history, the United States needs (by my estimation) a fiscally conservative person who will not continue to entangle us in pointless & costly wars. We need to recover and regroup. Once this is accomplished, RP may not be the right man 5 or 10 years from now, but he is needed now and has been for the past 15 years or so.

Just for the record, either RP, Mitt, Newt, RS, MB, or JH will not be capable of a successful presidency without a Congress that can be rated higher than the current's approval rating.
