Since Paul has mostly captured the well educated and informed people of the population, I agree. They will go to Gary Johnson like white on rice. Obama will indeed win if Paul isn't elected, and as more people become informed about him and by extension the existence of Johnson, that likelihood will increase.

Gary who? So the plan is throw your votes away and end up with Obama again. Great plan.

Romney for me. Not crazy about the guy but take a look at the rest of the field. I saw Johnson talking on candidate cafe . He just looked like a broken man down on his luck. Also looked high as a kite.

Ron Paul can raise big money at the drop of a dime.

I don't see his coffers running dry anytime soon.

The question is, who will Huntsman, Perry, Bachmann and Santorum's backers go?

I don't see them clinging to Mitt or Newt.

Explain to me why I should vote for someone that has beliefs that are contrary to my own...just so your corrupt and backwards thinking party can win?

There's a thread on ar15, a true blue gun site with hard core Perry and Bachmann supporters saying they will do everything they can to keep Obama in the WH to preserve their gun rights, if Romney wins the nomination (they're up in the air about Newt). Gridlock will prevent an assault weapons ban but an all Republican gov't may not.
