Win or lose, I'm happy to support a candidate that has a platform that aligns with and effectively addresses a good deal of things I believe are important.

Well, that's great then. Glad you'll be so happy! - So will we...when your hero has to sit down.

I have no need for a "hero" especially not in a politician...but even if he was my hero, it would be better than worshiping some fictional character.

Enough of the dodges, Paul needs accept responsibility and "disavowing" ain't that.
Your right. And Paul should own up to that. I believe in the
past he has...Get up and do it again

He was the publisher, not the editor.

What Paul is guilty of, is neglect, and ambition to make a buck.
But I doubt he made Millions on this short newsletter
as CNN stated. I thought they were poorly put together and
reminds me of the day when one did cut and paste manually.

Paul is not is a racist. His record doesn't show it.
His public speaking does not show it.
His lifestyle does not show it.
And he's had 76 some years on this planet to prove it, if he was.

Reasons for folks not to want to vote for Paul: the issues,
simple don't like him, or think he's too old, or crazy - fine.

Being a racist, IMO, isn't one of them.

You aren't discouraging any of us, by the way.

So what Michele Bachmann's rant on "not all cultures are equal" gets a pass:

Bachmann: "Not All Cultures Are Equal" - YouTube

And what about what was on the ranch of Rick Perry's family hunting camp? Did that just get a one-day coverage:

Rick Perry family’s hunting camp still known to many by old racially charged name - The Washington Post

And let's not get started on Rick Santorum's vehemently anti-gay stances, which looking up on YT alone will give you hours of "entertainment"

Rick Santorum’s Top Ten Most-Offensive Anti-Gay Comments | The New Civil Rights Movement

Why weren't any of these things given the "scrutiny" that the MSM claims gives impartially to all of its candidates.

Because they aren't leading in Iowa. If anyone takes Bachmann seriously, they need their head examined. And Perry? He's Dan Quayle in cowboy boots.

If Dan Quayle was a Democrat, then I think that would be a perfect description. But yes, Rick Perry is a bumbling idiot.

I'm betting if you hypnotize him and then tell him all he has to do t become president immediate is switch back to Democrat, he'd switch back in a heartbeat.

I'm blown away by anyone who considers Perry a "more conservative alternative to Romney." People are so gullible.

He did not approve the release of the newsletters since he didn't read them. The editor is the one responsible for the content in the newsletter.
