It was their responsibility to know the rules. If they didn't...too bad for them. 10,000 signatures should not be a big deal for someone seriously running for President. If it is, maybe they shouldn't be running to begin with. This is a simple lack of organization and planning which speaks to not being up to the task ahead imo.

Agreed. I think it shows they are not up to the task. As much as I bash your man Romney he is organized and has a strong worker base.
They are only the latest two. The Va ballot will only be Romney and Paul. What does that tell you about the GOP Machine. Maybe the DOJ should investigate. The only difference between them and ACORN is

How can you blame the GOP machine? The other candidates knew what the rules were, they had the same opportunity to fulfill them, and they didn't. They can't blame anybody but themselves. Don't play into the blame game. Mitt Romney and Ron Paul are the only two canidates that seem to have the organizational skills or the commitment to even be running for president. This was not an impossible or monumenatal task to accomplish.
If that's it, no wonder he couldn't get enough signatures...lol.
