The good news for Romney keeps coming 1 week before the Iowa Caucus and 2 weeks before the NH primary.

In a new CNN/Time poll, Romney leads the pack in Iowa with 25%. Paul is second (but statistically tied with Romney) at 22%. Santorum is third at 16% and Gingrich continues his fall there, now at 4th place with 14%.

In NH, the CNN/Time poll shows Romney in a very comfortable lead with 44%. His nearest opponent is Paul at 17%, Gingrich at 16%, and Huntsman at 9%. So much for that wonderful Union Leader endorsement for Gingrich.

I'll take Romney over Gingrich any day of the week... That guy is unelectable to the general public in any election.

Great news! Looks like that big endorsement from the religious right is helping Santorum. Even though I agree with some of what he says, for some reason he irks me. I just can't stand that pious looking down on people he seems to do.

With two victories out the chute, Romney will be the presumptive candidate. It will be all over before it even got going.

It is a good poll for Romney, but it is also a CNN/Times poll. I don't know how much faith I would put into that plus so many in Iowa are still saying they are undecided or could change their minds in the next few days.

What needs to happen is Gringrich, Perry, Bachmann, Huntsmann, Santorium will drop out. then it will be Paul and Mitt

Lets just see how long Mitt can stand the heat of a Paul choice vs his pretend conservative record!
