Nobody can speak for Paul's base because we represent a cross section of America that is large and integrated. That is what most people don't understand.
Paul brings people from all backgrounds together. This, to me is another reason that his Presidency could be revolutionary.

Who else has Tea Party AND Occupy Wall Street support? NOBODY
Matter of fact, who else even has support from ONE of these movements?

Wrong.

The event attend by the now president was the 42nd anniversary of the 1965 march from Selma, a pivotal event in the civil rights movement that ended when the marchers were attacked by law enforcement at Edmund Pettus Bridge.

Obama was in the company of people like the Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth and others you may know of.

Not exactly...Ill admit I was wrong that it was a BP event...but to say it was as innocent as him supporting the anniversary of an important civil rights event isnt exactly as squeaky clean as his supporters would like to make it appear.

He seemed to have no problem sharing a stage, and being publicly greeted and supported by members of the BP party who were clearly there to support his candidacy.

I'm quite sure that if a similar situation played out where Storm Front had an official committee somewhere to greet and march with RP, this would be an entirely different conversation.

I'm also confident that Paul would have no part in an "elbow rubbing" or photo op on a public stage/forum with known racists...that just goes against everything his principals stand for.

Yeah, you also have the right to be a troll, but that doesn't mean you should expect anyone to take you seriously ...

Thank you tropolis. That video has a great snippet from a black man whose white wife was helped out by Ron Paul after being turned away by other medical facilities. Not only did he help her out he paid the bill. This is the man I will vote for with no reservations.

This newsletter silliness is just the 2012 equivalent of the Reverend Wright non-story that was trotted out to destroy Obama 4 years ago. That didn't change the outcome and this will be forgotten about as well.

You don't have to agree with a position, but you cannot deny them their right to express themselves.
It is called freedom.
They also have the right to accept the consequences of expressing their views from people who do not agree with them.

Nice spin though

Once again, he explained it very well.
Correct. In addition he has said OVER and OVER that he was just the publisher and NOT the editor and the total number of egregious sentences added up to about 8.

He also said like any other media outfit, EVEN BIG CORPORATIONS LIKE FOX AND CNN AND NBC ETC, reporters will say things they aren't supposed to . You can't control every word that comes out of their mouths. They all make mistakes and nobody takes them to task like they have with Dr. Paul.

Jeepers. There is so little to find fault with when it comes to Ron Paul.... the media just doesn't let up trying to make mountains out of mole hills.

Paul can dissemble and deny until the cows come home; these 10 items published with Ron Paul named as either "editor" or "editor and publisher" are tough too explain away.

10 Extreme Claims in Ron Paul's Controversial Newsletters | Mother Jones

Number 5 on the list of 10 outrageous claims made in various Paul publications is a killer. TBS, if your name is going to be attached to something published for national consumption, it's wise to know what's being spread. And yes, the source is Mother Jones but they didn't write these blurbs. They simply printed what is archived. The idea that Israel's Mossad was behind the NYC bombings is one conspiracy theory that most people would hesitate to disseminate.
