But, I'm optimistic!

When Joe Strummer died in 2002, I figured that was it, there was no one left 'from my youth' that I still wanted to see.

Well, you are still a very lucky person and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

He's going to be in Portland (Oregon) on May 22. I wish I could go but that's over 100 miles away for me and it's just not that easy for me to get away.

Just remember, though - "how can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?"

I suspect the light show alone will be worth it!

So....THERE!

Are you disappointed in the Obama presidency?
I'm very, very disappointed by his foreign policy. It obviously goes against everything that I believe. Having said that, it seems that the alternative to re-electing Obama would be such a heinous disaster for this country if you look at the candidates on the other side. I find it hard to find any value in any of them. They are lackeys for the grossest machine . . . to a man and to a woman.

So, I support Obama's attempt to become re-elected. But I hope he will develop bigger cojones and start governing in the way that I, and many of the people who supported him in the last election, would want him to. Just this morning I was looking at some clips on YouTube of the FDR speech in 1936 at Madison Square Garden. It was one of the most engaging and illuminating and stirring pieces of oratory that any of us have ever heard. He stood up and said that he is the most hated man in the world by the military industrial complex.

I really dig pink floyed and i always have, but this is pretty sad coming from a guy i have long respected. To support Obama after all his lies and then to just apologize for it by saying "I hope he will develop bigger cojones and start governing in the way that I, and many of the people who supported him in the last election, would want him to" is really the pipe dream of the year.

The simple fact is this, the only person who will change this countries foreign policy if he is elected is Ron Paul ... Roger needs to wake up and smell the epic fail that Obama really is, this is very irresponsible of him.

I think most of us who support President Obama's re-election hope that he will develop "bigger cajones," especially in how he deals with the republi-thug party. And Roger Waters has every right to not like his foreign policy, while still supporting him - again, I think that most, if not all, of us have one or two or even more areas where we aren't happy with how President Obama has handled them.

Big whoop. There is not a viable, credible candidate with an 'R' by his (or her) name - and that includes your "god" Ron Paul.

Personally, I think it is very irresponsible of Kelly Clarkston to endorse him.

Thank you.

I actually take being called a socialist as a compliment.

I'll have to see a 100% increase in her talent before I buy any of her music.

Who DOES do music for the love of it anymore? One of the many reasons why music has completely sucked for awhile now...

That being said, I don't like Clarksons music now or before she started supporting Ron Paul.....

Of course you do, because it is true ... My last post was not intended as an insult or a compliment, merely an observation.
