Paul will not win the GOP nomination, so there is no point in even debating this.
If Paul would like to run as a Libertarian, which is his true party IMO, then he should. Then, I would love to his supporters run around crying foul when he cannot even win one state in November 2012.
He just happens to be right. The Left would like nothing more than for Paul to be the GOP candidate.
Yep... it is not about putting the best candidate, that adheres to conservative principles, for the republican party. It is all about beating Obama at ANY cost. Even if it takes the Romneys, Santorums and Gingriches of the world. That is, after all, what they'd been bitching about since Nov 4, 2008... conservatism was merely a sham. And in the end, Ron Paul is technically, that useful idiot.
