Sarah Palin: Mainstream media and Barack Obama want Mitt Romney as nominee - HUMAN EVENTS

Ive said similar comments in the past as well.

i just dont see how romney can counter obama on anything in a debate.

romney has no charisma or personality and his base hates him.

hes a weaker candidate then mccain was in 08.

i dont care about a poll now, 10 months out, which is the counter from the mittens supporters. obama has beaten romney in 6 of the last 9 polls anyways, 2 ties, and 1 for romney.

it makes no sense for romney to be the republican party nominee.

This from a woman who led her supporters to believe she would run for months while travelling around in a big ole honkin' bus wrapped in the constitution... taking campaign contributions I might add.

She doesnt have the fortitude to run herself, but she wants to think she controls the outcome in some way?

Conservatives don't want Mittens as the GOP nominee, but liberals do. What a state of affairs. :-/

NONE of the GOP candidates make sense from the standpoint of getting elected, take a hard look at the past Rejects and loons that make up the GOP alternative and one sees quickly that none are an upgrade from what we have now. Romney will get the nomination because he has te most backing by the GOP leadership and he has the most money, the rest a just a sideshow act to make it look like there really was competition.

The Dems do not fear any of the GOP Wannabes, not one of them could give Obama a good run and some of the real wacky ones would get beaten in a landslide.

There is one they will publicly say they don't fear, but if he were nominated, the pro-weed and anti-war votes would essentially be stolen right out from under Obama. Hopefully Obama and his merry band of retards are arrogant enough to believe they could actually beat Paul.

Only Pauls retards believe the American People would buy into Pauls crackpot ideas and he could win the election, heck he cannot even win the GOP nomnation and that speaks voulmns when he cannot even win over a majority or Repugs, no one fears Paul, not even the other GOP Candidates.

Don't fool yourself. Some of those voters may switch to Paul, but not enough to make a difference in the outcome. The Repub party offers no support to them, but the Democrats do.
Conservatives don't understand the depth of anger the citizens have over the do-nothing Congress. Just as 2010 was a message to the Congress, so 2012 will be as well, and the Repubs are seen as being the obstructors.

Democrats fear no Repubs this time around. Take it to the bank.

How do you know this?

Through corporatism, federal prohibition of marijuana, and the Patriot Act? Please.

Fortunately, RP can bring the troops home from Afghanistan without Congress's consent. Something Obama is unwilling to do.

Obama would have to campaign hard in the left coast as they're kind of unruly and aren't Obamatrons out that way. Obama's campaign managers would get many gray hairs since the typical regional splits wouldn't occur in an Obama/RP matchup. Florida and Ohio would no longer be gamechangers. Paul could win Hawaii, California and Oregon with the stoner vote.

You are thinking too conventionally. Paul is a nuclear option and creates much chaos in the election cycle since you cannot rely on your standard campaign tactics of Democrat=good, Republican=bad.

Obama and the Democrats want Romney to get the nomination because that will create a straight Rep vs. Dem partyline election, which because the Dems would win because they have more party faithful at this point in history.
