If that treaty gets signed (Hillary is working on it now) the US will be bound to follow it's dictates, or don't you know how treaties work?

You know what treaties are worth to the US government, ask the Native Americans. Again, read more, post less.
US citizens are NOT subject to laws or regulations created by other nations, just in case you did not know it.

Is it your assertion that the US would sign the Small Arms treaty and then ignore it? If so, what would be the point of signing it in the first place?

US citizens are only subject to other countries laws when they are in those other countries. Sheesh!!

Treaties affect how we relate and interact with to other countries. Treaties don't trump domestic laws and the constitution.

I saw NOTHING wrong in what was proposed. Illegal means against the rules and laws of the Nation. The thing is, nothing in what was proposed would change one thing in the US if we did abide by them because we already do what is being suggested, just in case you did not know that. That is assuming we would even abide by the treaty, and nce again we know what treaties are worth.

From the Hastings Law Journal...

According to rules of international law, however, neither a Constitutional mandate nor the enactment of a statute provides an excuse for a treaty violation.9 Prevailing opinion holds that an act wrongful under the law of nations remains so even if a nation’s internal law deems otherwise.

Try enforcing it

Anyway, had my say for a while, after having half of what I posted today cut, I am not in the mood to waste more time here.
Have Fun Guys, see ya on the flip side.

Zona, check the C-D TOS and the sticky post on copyrights. you are getting a little carried away with using quoted material. This is why congress is considering this SOPA thing.
