GOP poll: Mitt Romney leads Obama in 5 of 6 swing states - POLITICO.com

The poll was conducted in Florida, Ohio, Nevada, Virginia, Wisconsin, and New Mexico.

Romney led Obama in the poll in FL, OH, NV, VA, WI, and NM. Romney and Obama were tied in the poll in NM.

After Newt is finished shredding Romney up, we shouldn't have much trouble getting to 270.

It was a poll conducted by a Republican consultant. As the article says, it wasn't a neutral poll. Sounds like push-polling. An 11 point lead in Nevada?

Actually, Newt's attacks on Romney have not really harmed Romney and may in fact be helping him.

More importantly, Obama won't be able to use Bain against Romney in the general election campaign if this all gets hashed out now. Thanks Newt!

And yet over half of the Republcian Party is too dumb to see that Romney needs to be the nominee.

Part of them are just blinded by their religion.

Part of them are blinded by their obsession with Ron Paul.

Oh yes.

Though the Santorum supporters at least are overwhelmingly blinded by their religion (but Fox News has pushed him somewhat).

I don't think we have any Santorum supporters on our forum. I really wonder who these people are.
