We matter, by not letting the blood of the country and our troops, on our hands.

Only Paul matters. Everything else, doesn't matter.
Thank you for so eloquently stating my feelings as well

I think many people are not understanding the will and the focus. The economic situation has got a long way to go. "We ain't in Kansas anymore". As much has happened, things look to get much bumpier.

I expect 2012 to have some drama going on. March thru June could be fun if you take a look at the BDI. EU debt and gold aside.

This is simply something people keep telling people. It in fact dis-empowers people. Voting is Voting. That is participation. Those voters may not matter to you, but it doesn't mean they don't matter.

To people who believe in voting their conscious, voting for someone they do not want is what doesn't matter.

Which is to say you would let the election go to Obama. Very telling indeed, and as of the time I checked the results, half of the Paul supporters would vote for Obama.

This is hard to fathom, when you consider that asside from his foreign policy (which perhaps more closely resembles Obamas, though Obama leans toward support of Islamists), Paul is a man who frequently speaks of the Constitution, and liberty, whereas Obama is a Marxist and socialist.

Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, however, as one Paul bot here has equated Rick Santorum with Taliban.

I'm always perplexed every voting cycle that folks
vote for continued deficit spending, militarism.
I'm thinking those folks shouldn't vote, not me

Paul, at least, in this election, is MAKING the GOP
address it. IF THEY pay attention, it will give them
a step up from the Dem Party in future elections IMO.

I'm shocked Paul supporters would vote for Obama.
With his deficit spending history, I would think they would
be running for the hills.
Obama's military/foreign policy has been more invasive than George Bush Jr.

Is "ours" a wasted vote? Not on your life.
I'm hoping one day there WILL BE more of us, than them
And BOTH of those "other parties" will have to address it.

We don't want the election to go to Obama, but we don't want the election to go to Newt/Mitt/Frothy either. Any ideas on what we can do?

This is a very dishonest poll. Most of the people who voted in this poll are NOT Paul supporters.

Who else obeys the Constitution and ensures our liberties? We can vote for him.

Frothy is a religious theocrat who wants to shove down his beliefs down our throats and want our laws to comport to a "higher" law (The Bible). You don't see anything wrong with that? If you don't, can you tell me the difference in concept between Frothy's ideals and Sharia (Islamic religious law)? In both cases, it's a law based on religion, and yet, the very mention of the word "Sharia" will cause a heart attack for most Americans, but Frothy's version of the Christian Sharia is somehow OK?

"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen,—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

- Article 11, Treaty of Tripoli, signed by John Adams, Founding Father.

Looking at the results and reading poster sentiments, it seems to me that if Ron Paul runs as a 3rd party candidate he may damage Obama more than his Republican opponent.

What's even more telling is all the conservative independent posters that are absent from the poll. The old "If I can't vote for Paul I am voting for Mickey Mouse"

Speaking of which I bet if Mickey Mouse was an option he would be at 90%.

Here are some possibilities.
Votes can be taken away equally from both. More people may likely vote overall.

As to Obama or Robomney people looking at RP aren't backing either one.

Yes this poll is suspect because if you see who voted and comments they have made you may wonder if they were intending to vote for RP at all.

The only people who I think will vote 3rd party other than RP, if they are an RP supporter is those that are not sure they will be able to write him in due to the way the election is handled in their state.
