On the poll, I voted for Paul and Romney. Paul did an amazing job and answered everything well. I was actually impressed with Romney in this debate and I'm usually not. He really dug into Gingrich.
When Romney was talking about how his wife had battled cancer and how she's been diagnosed with MS and that she can reach out to other women, my first thought was that maybe she could reach out Newt's first wife (cancer) and Newt's second wife (MS).
While I am very sympathetic to anyone who's lost a child, I felt that he exploited that a little - maybe working on the sympathy vote.
Also, he went on and on and on about his wife (stay at home mom, wrote cookbook, stay at home mom, wrote book about Gabriel, stay at home mom, wrote book on manners.....blah, blah, blah). Really overdid it a little in my opinion.
I agree - I thought he might cry. He could have talked about the book without making a sales pitch.
Ron Paul had a massive crowd of supporters outside the venue holding up Ron Paul and End The Fed signs. Erin Burnett was talking about it outside before the debate.
Cooper brought up Paul and they were discussing him. It was just getting going and that Biatch he unmic'd on about the newsletters, cut him off and started boasting Santorum, how he was helping Newt, go against Mitt.
I'm glad Mitt Romney cut her off right after the debate
when he said "I'm no shrinking violet". She's an irritating
interviewer.
Ron Paul exposed neut for the liar he is. I can't tell you how many times I've heard neut brag about balancing the budget. It's like his main claim to fame and Dr. Paul shows him to be a complete and total liar. LOL
How could anyone now vote for such a man is beyond me totally.
Too true. The thing that irritates me the most is that as long as Newt the loudmouth is in the running, he'll always manage to draw all the media attention to himself. Dr Paul's principals are getting ignored to an even greater degree than they were when the media was blacking him out.
