I see it as no different from those in the bottom 99% who don't consider themselves part of the OWS "We are the 99%" crowd. It's not hypocrisy. Just a different mindset.
It probably also helps that Elizabeth Warren was not born wealthy. People tend to associate themselves with the social class they grew up in, even if it changes over time.

And do you give that pass to someone like Romney, who also wasn't born into wealth?
I suppose wealth depends on where you are sitting on that income distribution curve. From where I sit; Elizabeth you may not be a Warren Buffet, but baby you are wealthy. I still love ya, but you really step in a pile of doo-doo with that line.
She definitely does fit into the 1% based on that income level. I'm not sure where the big hypocrisy is other than the OP is overly emotional.
Most people perceive their wealth based on their cohorts. She probably knows people a lot more wealthy.

Use some common sense. Being a so called 1 percenter is not just about being wealthy. It's an attitude and mindset. Please provide links that show where Warren has made money off of the backs of the working class or has her money hidden in offshore accounts. Has she outsourced jobs and employed slave labor? Has she bankrupted businesses as a vulture capatialist? Has she cheated her stockholders Has she started a Ponzi scheme? Has she not paid taxes? Are you comparing Warren's net worth to the real 1 Percent? Warren is fighting to defend the middle class consumer and put a stop to Wall Street B.S. Warren came up through the ranks.
