In an open primary, as a Democrat, I will vote for him. His record on labor issues is good. Far better than the other candidates.

Right-wing religious shrill Santorum will be Obama's dream opponent. Keep it up Republicans, if you want to help guarantee a second Obama term.

I go into every election really wanting to vote Democrat, but their economics just seem so wishy-washy. But the thought of a Rick Santorum presidency-like a dumber, more naive W administration... makes me want to crawl up in the fetal position. If you want to know my views, they largely mirror that of the Economist- economic liberalism, in the classic sense of free trade and such, and fairly liberal in the modern sense on social issues. Romney says some dumb stuff (Corporations are people too) but I don't have to room with the guy. I continue to be baffled by the blind adoration for Obama, so if for only that reason my preference is Romney.

i am a conservative who would not vote for santorum.

after leaving the government sector, what did he do? he became a lobbyist, just like newt.

these people are never going to be part of the solution because they are actually part of the problem-the creepy connection between those who can pay and those who can be bought.

i find it very interesting that newt and santorum are both trotted out BY THE MEDIA as conservatives, most likely in an effort to split the conservative base. it isn't an accident that newt said that he would rather vote for obama than ron paul.

no real conservative would say that.
