Somewhere in the wastelands of rural Virginia...

Gingrich Supporter to voter:
You know, you should vote for Paul. He is more conservative than Romney. He follows the Constitution. He is for a strong national defense and a sane foreign policy. He has never voted to raise taxes. He voted against raising the debt ceiling every single time. He will reduce federal spending and reduce your taxes. He will bring back the Gold standard. He will reign in the inflation. He will..
*suddenly something snaps in his brain like a bolt of lightning*

Gingrich Supporter to self:
Huh..wait a minute. Why am I not voting for Paul over Gingrich myself?
*joins the R[̲̅ə̲̅٨̲̅٥̲̅٦̲̅]ution*

#winning...

Said Gingrich supporter then remembers Paul's foreign policy and goes back to Gingrich.

While I like Paul on foreign policy, that is mainly because I am liberal. I imagine most Gingrich supporters have serious problems with it.

Newt should go to Virginia and actively campaign for Paul it would be a first that one candidate campaigns for the other. His talking points could be " we need to keep that fake conservative Romney out of the WH" or " a vote for Paul since he can not win is a vote for me" If Santorum did the same Paul would take Virginia and get that needed surge.

I could possibly see Gingrich in a cabinet position if he dropped and endorsed Paul ... Might be the only thing that could redeem his career as a politician. Of course i cant really imagine what position i would like him in ... Suggestions?

Of course it's not going to make a difference. If Romney, Santorum, or Newt win the nomination, the elite still control the White House, and the rest of us get screwed again.
