Santorum: States Can Outlaw Condoms/Contraceptives
You're twisting the context of what he said.

As a states right issue (10th amendment) states should have the right to ban them if they want.

As a practical issue and HIS opinion, no he doesn't support banning contraceptives.

Think about it - you ain't gonna be getting laid if this ridiculousness ever actually makes it into law.

Not by your date, not by your girlfriend, and only by your wife if you want to have children - once she's done, you'll be done. Especially if your wife is over 40.

I'm assuming vasectomies fall under the banner of BC? Right? No snip for you. Sorry. There goes all the lovin'. Bummer.

The fact that this is even being discussed with any seriousness is beyond terrifying and should be for any freedom loving person.

This guy can talk all he wants. When it comes to voting, women will come out in droves to keep their rights to contraceptives. I come from a very religious family, but the women decided to just quietly use birth control, and the husbands knew, and said nothing. Smart men.

We need Margaret Sanger back marching the streets! A 100 years later, we are not going to move backwards on women's rights to contraception!

In EVERY interview he should be asked why was it okay for his wife to have an abortion to save her live but our wives must die, and probably the child too because it isn't viable.

They should also ask him about how many babies his wife helped kill when she worked for the abortion doctor.

So you think only men have the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness?

Well, women pay taxes, too, they are citizens, too.......maybe Iran would be more to your liking????

In his world you do not have sex until you are married and only to make babies.

Oh and since he is into "State's Rights" he should be asked about the States that allow same sex marriage.

Right?

Feminism believes the Constitution gives ALL citizens equal rights...you don't....maybe Iran would be more to your liking...

A state can attempt to outlaw anything it wants. If the voters of a given state believe that it's in their best interests, and providing it does not violate rights afforded under the Constitution, that is their prerogative. In the case of BC, the Supreme Court has ruled. It's a non-issue.

Anyone can move in the US at any given time. If you don't like the laws in California you can move to Texas. If you hate Texas, maybe Massachusetts might suit you better.

We are a representative republic. The states generally operate similarly. Sanitarium (:smile was speaking technically. States still have rights.

I don't agree with what has happened in California, but it's what the voters here have decided. When it gets too nutty, I will pack up and move. I'm a big taxpayer and my only real way to vote is with my feet.
