So how the hell is he a "conservative"?

He has consistently voted to expand the size of government.

Being "Conservative" mean the rate of future increase is less.

For example: a non-conservative would expand the size of government by 25% a year. A "conservative" like Santorum will expands it 24.9%.

Or 35% a year to suit the conservative agenda.

Yes, there will need to be a bigger government to enforce all the regulation on our personal lives he wants to enact.

There is no such thing as a "Republican for small government."

ALL Republican presidents have grown the federal government and the debt. Frothy Mix or Mitt "Flip Flop" Romney would do the same exact thing.

It takes a Democrat to fix the mess left over by failed Republican presidents.

Care to explain?

The truth is, both Republicans and Democrats are in the same party. When was the last time you hear a politician admin they are wrong? I have never hear any. But when it times to claim credit, magically, all their hands are rise.

The GOP is the party of big government. Before, now and it would be after ... if given the chance in the WH again. That pain you have in your throat isn't from a piece of hamburger caught in there, it's from the heel of the boot of some GOP elected official.

You have not heard? big gvt is ok as long as the {R} party is in charge { see Bush years} Even icons like Limbaugh have embraced and defended big gvt conservatism because it keeps the liberals out of power.
Conservative means this to {R}s :
1] big gvt
2] strong on social issues to appeal to Evangelicals
3] neo con interventionist foreign policy and fear mongering
4] defending the Obama/Bush tax cuts

So according to them and Limbaugh "Santorum breaths conservatism " I just hope it is not contagious I definitely do not want to catch it.

Compared to Obama he is the most conservative man on earth. He will spend infinitely less than Obama.
