That education didn't seem to have a negative impact on Santorum or his highly educated parents, or his higly educated GOP rivals. If my dad had I Phd. I'd be proud of it. Santorum has more college education than Oabma.

Was this a dig at Newt, who has a Phd?
Quote:
Santorum attended Pennsylvania State University for his undergraduate studies, serving as chairman of the university's College Republicans chapter and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in political science in 1980.[27] He then completed a one-year Master of Business Administration program at the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, graduating in 1981.
In 1986, Santorum received a law degree (JD) with honors from the Dickinson School of Law.[28]

Rick Santorum is the middle of the three children of Aldo Santorum (1923–2011), a clinical psychologist who immigrated to the United States at age seven from Riva del Garda, Italy,[16] and Catherine (Dughi) Santorum (1918–), an administrative nurse

Because he is smart, "holier than thou", whereas the people he is appealing to are... idiots. Clearly, he assumes others to be simpletons and not as "enlightened" as him.

He's trying to pander to the uneducated right wing idiots, that having an education is "for dem librrrls!" Though in the end it's more right wing hypocrisy as he's highly educated himself.

All 4 GOP candidates are highly educated, all have more education than Obama. Paul - MD, Newt - Phd. and Santorum -JD and MBA, Romney - JD and MBA

It is not the education that is being slammed. Rather, it is the overwhelming preponderance of Progressive ideology pushed above all else which is the problem at public colleges and liberal arts institutions. Bill Ayers, Obama's buddy who dabbled in domestic terrorism, is quite the architect in the institutionalization of Progressivism in schools.

Because he's a demagogue.

That progressive ideology on college campuses didn't seem to hurt Santorum or his parents. They seem to be doing rather well, as are the other GOP candidates who spent many many years in college.

We need our Hitler...

"Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith. We need believing people."

Absolutely. There are plenty of right wingers that went to these "liberal" colleges and that hasn't affected them.
The whole "college is programming liberalism!" is just propaganda to keep the useful idiots dumb. The less intelligent they are, the easier they are to control.

You assume much. How do you know what were their personal experiences in college?
