No, but maybe if I learn to spout the corporate bs, I can get a job with the network media.

Paul is a nice guy, but he's either lying or stupid if he thinks he would be able to get everything he talks about passed. The chances are about as good as us having a moon base in 8 years.

My preference over all 4 of the GOP is Obama. I think the GOP is going to have a dearth of good candidates for a long time given that the fringes of the party have pushed out a lot of people who appeal to the mainstream.
Paul might not be able to do most of what he wants to do, such as end the income tax, but he could prevent us from entering the stupid wars that seem to be the norm nowadays... that would be enough for me.

No I'm not saying that Romney is George Washington, but I am saying that it's irrelevant how much money you have.

Why does "Mormon" even factor into it? Theologically, Mormonism is vastly different on things like a closed canon of scripture and nitpicky specifics of what God is like or what heaven is like or was the devil is like, when/where souls come from, etc. But for the only part that has any bearing on their political decision making -- values -- the Mormons are identical to the rest of Christianity. You could easily make the case that they're more conservative individually than the vast majority of Christians. Romney isn't my first choice by a long shot, but if another Mormon came along whose views I agreed with better, I'd vote for him. If Ron Paul was a Mormon I'd vote for him -- it would not matter one bit. So why bring it up constantly as though it meant "Mormon" was some horribly contagious incurable disease?
As all of the current 'I'm a Mormon' tv ads indicate, Mormons are found throughout the fabric of American society, and I don't believe I am incorrect in saying that Mitt is a Mormon or that he is wealthy - so whatever you read into it is your own bias.

It's silly because we're on the same side. But you are trying to offer up the two bad choices with this title:

"Would you prefer a rich elitist Mormon or a war-crazed Chickenhawk to guide this country?"

And then offer up Ron Paul as the sane choice. Yes Ron Paul is the sane alternative to business as usual. You're absolutely right there. But you're trying to sell your point by saying "Rich + Elitist + Mormon" and the implication is that all three things are bad. If that was not your point, then why wasn't the title:

"Would you prefer a rich elitist Mormon or a war-crazed Catholic Chickenhawk to guide this country?"

Why bring up only one guy's religion but not the other? For that matter, why bring up either guy's religion at all? Paul is worlds better than Romney without any need to play on people's religious bigotries or biases. "Romney's a Mormon" is just beating a dead horse and it's completely irrelevant to his politics. If you mean nothing by it, don't bring it up to begin with. It weakens your point and sidetracks from the real issues.

I don't care that Mitt is Mormon. If Ron Paul was Mormon he'd still have my support.

Regardless of what side any of us are on, to make the choice by even listing religion shows me a strong prejudice or it wouldn't be mentioned. I have a problem with anyone who is an elitist, but I have no problem with religion or sexual orinetation, for that matter. My vote is still with Romney given the choice.

Wow

Obama is a 1% er who does not pay his fair share of taxes and a chickenhawk.

Guess he is done.

So I will go with the successful smart guy who has actually accomplished something in his life unlike the scam artist elitist we have in the WH.

So, my choices are a rich elitist Mormon or a war-crazed Chickenhawk...or a whack job who wants to let Iran have Nukes?
