Will is a conservative elitist like Buckley, like Krauthammer.

Will is the one who euphemistically rebranded Romney's flip flopping as a "versatility of conviction" and then tried to paint it as a good thing in that because Romney had been on all sides of most issues the Democrats wouldn't be able to pin him down on anything.

He has been somewhat erratic though because after he said that he has said other things that don't jibe with the above.

The calls of "George Will speaks to Democrats," and "RINO" so far in this thread are hilarious. George Will, part of the old conservative guard, is no longer "conservative" enough to be a Republican. The difference in the party since the last time I voted Republican (2000) to now is just astounding. And if this extreme stance is truly the face of modern Republicanism than tin 20 years the party is as good as dead on a national level.
I don't think you can call someone conservative if he is willing to concede the White House to the most liberal president in the history of the country.

No, he's a conservative institution. However, as someone with more than one brain cell, he is a prime target in the Republican Cultural Revolution. Carry on Republican Maoists. Keep the purge going! It only helps us Democrats.

Yep. Dixie, god bless you -- I don't know how you folks do it. My only concern is that when the purge is complete and all of you are in the Democratic Party because you were forced into it we true leftists won't have much a voice anymore. Oh well. I will stand with those of you who think that being the party of Rush is not something to be proud of. It's us, the forces of civilization, against them -- the party of Rush -- at the moment.

So, a President who is for all intents is to the right of Reagan is the, "Most liberal president in the history of the country?"

He's more liberal than the President that ended slavery?
More liberal than the president that instituted the income tax?
More liberal than the President that broke up the oligarchs and monopolies of the Gilded Age?
More liberal than the President that ended segregation in the US military?
More liberal than the President that founded Social Security?
More liberal than the President that founded Medicare?
More liberal than the President that founded the EPA?

Shall I go on?

Don't bother. The poster will not get your point even if you listed 100 items.

Or which presidents accomplished the items in that list.

He has said he will circumvent congress to do whatever he wants. Only the courts will be able to stop him and that takes a long time. He may be able to change the complexion of the court by then. No we need the White House. Will is a jerk.
Did you mean composition of the court?

Though Obama will probably change it's complexion too!
