Yes, silly MSM tricking Republican candidates for saying things likes, States should be able to outlaw birth control. And tricky MSM for getting Texas, Virginia, Nebraska, Kansas, etc... to propose or enact legislation the could make abortions an contraceptives illegal.

That MSM sure is something else.

Oh, come on! It was the BLUNT Amendment, as in ROY BLUNT, (R) MO.
And the vote was 51-48; it would appear that most Republicans voted FOR it. And Blunt isn't finished:

Honestly, after watching this whole Rush thing play out, I think it's just going to get worse.

I don't even know what is going on anymore. Perhaps this is a result of having separate sources for news, commentary, etc? I mean it is very effective for getting your point out the the people in your segment, but I think we've gotten to the point where there is an echo chamber so all-encompasing that is creating its own world and its own logic that had completely lost touch with anything else.

Rush literally called a young woman a ****, prostitute and demanded sex tapes from her because... she disagreed with him on policy?? The vast majority of women are not going to be pleased, right? It's kind of a no brainer. But I just watched 2 well known pundits poo poo it on CNN. One said "he was wrong" but then spent all his time trying to change the subject to democrat offenses and the other straight out said he did nothing wrong. Really? Just take the L. I don't even see what the debate is. How is this good strategy? It plays well to the hardcore base and makes most of everyone else recoil with horror, especially women.

What the hell is going on out there? Just when you think things can't get any crazier.

And when you have a disgusting pig such as Limbaugh, who to many is The Voice of the Republican Party, making the vile remarks that he has, and NO ONE in the GOP is willing to use terms any stronger than "inappropriate" and "language I wouldn't use" to denounce him, it's just going to continue to get worse for the GOP.

And now O'Reiley is jumping on the disgusting bandwagon, siding with Limbaugh by also insulting Miss Fluke.

Oh, well.

I'm not.

No one wants to ban birth control, and I'm more concerned with economic issues. Obama will never get my vote, and neither will the majority of the republican party.

I know and I agree 100%. It's disgusting and I hate that we live in a world where this is considered ok and even cheered.

So out of the worst of the worst we have to choose from, who are going to likely vote for and why?

It does seem to be a calculated move to undermine women and marginalize them even further. Civil discourse is a fading memory, and the days of bi-partisan work ever more remote. It scares people, and people
get dangerous when they're scared. I feel like I woke up and it's 1965 all over again, replete with the attempt to demonize women and Bull Connor
wannabes. There's a Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times." We seem to be well and truly cursed about now.
