I've been following the former Senator's political statements with some interest. It appears that he espouses a world view quite similar to the Taliban (IMO) in social affairs. Does anyone else have a similar viewpoint?
It's going to far to say he's part of the American Taliban, but he is way more comfortable with telling other people how to have sex than a good, loyal American should be.
He is just the latest in a long line of politicians throughout history with some great need to control/dictate peoples personal lives and proselytize his religious beliefs onto others.
He's not really that dangerous. There is no way in the world he would be able to pass any of his social conservative agenda into law.
