Now that Santorum is the front runner the GOP finally has a hardcore true conservative to rally and coalesce around.

Last night Santorum's convincing 3 State win, now his fourth State, should have conservatives rallying to his side versus the more moderate and liberal candidates he campaigns against.

Early Tuesday, Mr. Santorum predicted that the results would “change the direction of this race.”

Do you believe it has?

What the GOP base really wants is a social conservative and a fiscal liberal (at least as far as freely spending tax payer money on their welfare and causes).

No wonder the GOP is so fractured.

He should enjoy his moment in the sun - it won't last long...

Which will guarantee a Democratic victory in November.

If you've been following the GOP saga, you know that things change on a weekly basis. Whoever might be the front-runner now is assured of absolutely nothing by the time of the nominating convention. (On the other hand, all the diehard Republican supporters have lots to talk about and predict!)

He has won 3 states, one of which is none binding, so we will see.

I think Santorum is MUCH better than Romney / Gingrich, but I still like Ron Paul the best. Santorum's foreign policy approach is horrible, so that will probably sink him in the end.

It is of no concern. After all, Senator Santorum's father was born in Italy, and so the presidential front runner will soon be declared ineligible to be President since he is not a, ahem, "natural born citizen".

Wrong. We want both social and fiscal conservatism.
